New MZB/Powerdynamo with Dynamic Curve - Now Available
« on: March 30, 2017, 03:22:33 PM »

Hi all, I've been working with MZB/Powerdynamo over the last few months developing a new ignition for the RD's with a dynamic curve and rev limiter that doesn't require programming. This system is very similar to the existing ignition but has a different dual trigger rotor and an advance unit. It will come preloaded with several curves and the curves can be changed using dip switches on the advance unit. No programming/programmer required. This is much simpler and less expensive set up than the MZB with the programmable Zeeltronic VCDI. Very easy install as you only need to find TDC when installing, no need to set timing. It can be done with a piston stop, dial gauge not necessary. We can also preload any custom curve to the advance unit. This advance unit also works with the MZB/Powerdynamo total loss racing ignition.

There's also an upgrade kit to retrofit existing systems with the new rotor and advance uni, link below.

Initial forum pricing for the dynamic system is $449 (full system - generator, rotor, advance unit, coils, reg/rec)

Upgrade Kit, includes the drum/advance unit needed for retro fitting existing systems is $249

Cool, indeed.

Could the customer create and load curves, with a Zeel programmer or otherwise, or must the box be sent back to you?

Not at the moment, different software/hardware. It would need to be sent to us for programming.
