76RD400 is a new guy here, but his talent with 2 strokes shines in his gorgeous 1976 Yamaha RD400.  Starting with an awesome, though crusty, freebie, complete with DG heads, he has transformed it into a clean resto-mod that combines the best of old and new, such as an anodized aluminum 'gassed' swingarm and Geneva Green paint.  WELL done, '76!  A deserving Bike of the Month that took a masterful lead in the voting.

i truly love that bike, not overdone, retains so much of the beauty of the factory rd, fukn sweet, sweet bike man! ( THE COLOR! YUM)  :dance: i showed my rd a picture of your rd and my rd wants me to hang a picture of your rd on my tool box so she can do dirty things at night to the picture .  :rolleyes:
