Looks like a bunch extra stuff to ad to your parts pile. If it was near Austin, I would be all over it. No pictures though.

I'd be interested in a few items if you buy the whole shebang.

Mark:  John Whitaker, owner of the Yamaha dial indicator that I use to time my bike and Daytona owner, is INTERESTED in that crank, 1A1 or 2V0.

He's out of town right now - let me know and I'll pass along...

I might be interested in an extra set of heads to have some squish done...

Yeah, 1A1 preferred, but 2V0 as a possible spare.  He's not revving high or hopping it up much - he says.

went and looked at peters stuff. Super nice guy. Theres not  a LOT but some. rz rear brake assbly, front forks for an rd350 w/wheel no caliper. some rust on downtubes but straight and rebuildable. set of rd400 (a1a) cases and rebuildable crank w/engine covers. (no tranny in cases). bunch of good condition heads, rd400 tool box, looks to be off an 'e'  but i could be wrong. rd400 stator, daytona trees, all engine hardware to mount motor (bolts, etc) a harness for parts, and one daytona RH i think caliper. I bought 2 swingarms and a fairng that wasnt listed) but really coulndt use anything else. he IS interested in shipping the front end to india BTW.
and, he is a member here but doesnt get on much at all.

so, heres the pics:

Thank you, pioughd!
I got 2 heads for $40 from this guy. Was planning to send them to Chuck to get some more squish... Turns out they are turned down already; about 1mm squish.  Filed down some high spots and put them on. Got 140psi on one side and 122 or so on the other.  Switched sides and pretty much 130 both sides, (up from 115) :woop:.  I just got some cheap, bolt-on torque thanks to your discovery and Mark's follow up.

Unless something changed, that crank in the case with sidecovers is probably still available. Wiring harness and toolbox too.
