Excellent guess ! '05 six hundo ...it's definitely lacking low end grunt, the cams start to make power around 9k. Two more teeth on the rear sprocket made a world of difference. It only weighs a little more than a stock RD too.

I knew it had to be an 04 or 05, I used to have an 04 600 in yellow.
Yeah, it takes a bit to come on the cams, but once it does, holy shit are they fast!!!

LOL...you're not seeing things, it's just under 4" back (adjustable extentions). It's going to be a dual purpose street/strip bike if i sell the oil cooled dragbike (pending). I didn't want to extend/lower it too much so it wouldn't turn (ie freight train) It still handles good in the turns, but not NEARLY as well as stock WB and height(turns slower now). It will have the front forks strapped down for the track, and loosened up for the street. With the 1k motor in it, the extentions will actually serve a purpose now.

Watch it again...look closely @ his right hand and listen carefully. It was all on-off throttle control. When he got it under control, he shifted another two gears. He wanted to win badly and knew that short-shifting was not an option as he surely would have lost the race.

From what i've learned so far, the lower motor mounts match up, but the top do not. Some people cut/weld the frame, or make brackets. I found a guy in Canada that will be making a mount kit...it should be ready soon. If not, i'll have a local machine shop i deal with make some alu plates. Harness, ECU, airbox, exh, and controls need to be swapped as well...not sure yet if there's anything else
