Gearing
The stock gearing on all RV90's is 15/47, meaning 15 teeth on the front sprocket, and 47 teeth on the rear. The stock sprocket tooth counts are good for off-road driving, and around town driving (25 mph or so), but the bike is revving pretty fast at anything over 30 mph.
If you are mainly a street driver, 15/43 is a better combo. The engine isnt as buzzy at higher speeds, and the bike will pull a legitemate 50 mph. The gas mileage increases a good amount as well with a 43 tooth sprocket on the rear. Anything lower than 43 teeth on the rear will make the bike fairly hard to get going from a stop.
PBI sprockets make sprockets in a myriad of sizes for the RV90. They appear to be the only manufacturer making both stock and non-stock sizes.
The PBI rear sprockets for the RV90 are made of hardened 7075-T651 aluminum
